    Pedicab drivers and operators Federation officers take oath

    PANABO City Davao del Norte – Newly elected officers of the Hugpong sa Tag-iya og Pedicab Drivers sa Panabo Federation, Incorporated (HUTPEDPAFI) took their oath in the presence of City Mayor James G. Gamao on February 3, 2017 at the ARF Gym, Barangay New Pandan.
    “Importante ni na grupo sa transport sector para madungog ang inyong mga tingog sa panggamhanan”, Mayor Gamao stressed.
    Further, he urged pedicab drivers to collect Php 8.00, the regular fare rate for every 3 kms., as approved by the Panabo City Transportation Management Committee (PACITRAMCO), a special regulatory body of the transport sector.
    Gamao also mentioned that the City Government through Licensing Section and other partner offices are planning to conduct an operation for colorum or those having no franchise within the city.
    “Salamat sa pag suporta sa among grupo, usa ni kadakong butang nga makatabang para mahatagan ug solusyon ang mga problema og plano sa mga drivers,” HUTPEDPAFI President Mario Sambalilo responded.
    Also present during the program were councilors: Gregorio Dujali, III; Flopone Royle Catalan and Emmanuel Pamisaran.

    Panabo City is Located along Daang Maharlika (Pan-Philippines Highway) and is situated between two major cities, Davao City and Tagum City.

    By AIR, The Davao International Airport has numerous local and international airlinrs flying into Davao. From the airport, you can either take a metered cab, van or jeepney going to Panabo City or via Tagum City or Mati City.

    By SEA, Panabo City is accessible through the Sasa port of Davao City. From Davao City you can choose among the numerous public vehicles to bring you to Panabo City.
